Great playground. Two dog parks. Nice walking path. Pavilion for picnic or parties.
This is a great family park. It has the newer style playground equipment with lots of climbing opportunities. There is a skateboard park, a pavilion, and walking trails. It is almost directly across the street from existing Mountain Park Park.
Plenty of parking. Easy to find. Entrance directly off Five Forks. Dog pens are located in the rear. Upper large pen is for big dogs. Lower smaller pen is for small dogs. There is no connecting gates between the pens like seen at other parks. Help out: recycle plastic grocery bags in the bag dispensers. Use these bags to clean up after doggie messes.
Okay but not great; just a few block from Mountain Park Park which is MUCH better. If you don't have kids, socialized dog there is not much to it. My question why waist tax dollars when there is already a huge park just a few blocks away?
The park was really nice. It was very clean, they even had doggie bag poles to pick up your dogs #2. It looks really new, even the skater area looks like it was just build.
